If you work with Power BI, you know the drill. You get a new dataset, spend an hour understanding the schema, then write DAX measures one by one until you have something worth showing in a report. Multiply that across clients, ERP systems, and tight deadlines, and it adds up fast.
Velqur was built to change that workflow.
Developed by EdgeXene LLC, Velqur is an AI-powered analytics assistant designed specifically for Power BI developers, data analysts, and consultants. It takes your ERP schema, understands your table structures, and generates production-ready DAX and Power Query M code in seconds -- not hours.
How It Works
Velqur keeps things simple. You select your ERP system or import a custom schema, describe what you want to analyze in plain English, and Velqur generates the code tailored to your actual table names, column structures, and Star Schema best practices.
It supports four modes:
- DAX -- measures, calculated columns, and KPIs
- Power Query M -- ETL transformations, merges, and data prep
- Schema Advisor -- Star Schema layout, table design, and relationships
- Chat -- general analytics questions with real-time web search built in
Whether you are building a revenue dashboard for SAP or designing a reporting layer for Dynamics 365, Velqur adapts to your environment. It ships with pre-built catalog support for SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Oracle, and Infor, so you can start generating code right away.
The Privacy Problem Velqur Solves
Here is where things get interesting. Consultants and analysts regularly work with client ERP schemas that contain sensitive information -- company names embedded in table prefixes, developer notes referencing internal projects, constraint names that reveal business logic.
Sending that raw schema to an AI service is a compliance risk most professionals would rather avoid.
Velqur addresses this with a client-side sanitization engine that runs entirely in your browser. Before your schema ever reaches the AI, Velqur automatically strips:
- SQL and DBML comments
- Developer notes and CDS annotations
- Schema prefixes and linked server references
- Default values, constraint names, and index statements
- Company and product names using proprietary pattern matching
After sanitization, you get a Sanitization Report that shows exactly what was removed and why. You can review and edit the cleaned version before submitting. The stripped content never leaves your browser.
For organizations with stricter requirements, the sanitization engine is also available as a standalone product under an entity-scoped commercial license. It runs entirely client-side with zero network calls, zero telemetry, and supports SQL DDL, DBML, XML, SAP CDS, ABAP, JSON, CSV, and plain text. It is built for regulated enterprises, data governance teams, and air-gapped environments.
Zero Data Retention by Default
Privacy does not stop at sanitization. Velqur's AI providers -- Together AI for inference and Tavily for web search -- are configured for Zero Data Retention. Your prompts and schema are not stored, not used for training, and permanently discarded after processing.
There are no tracking cookies, no analytics scripts, no fingerprinting. Chat history lives only in your browser. Location features are opt-in and exist solely in browser memory, discarded on page refresh.
Both Together AI and Tavily represent SOC 2 Type II certification, and Velqur's servers are hosted in Finland within the European Union.
Who Benefits Most
Velqur is built for people who already understand their business data but want to move faster:
- Consultants juggling multiple client environments who need speed without compromising data confidentiality
- Power BI developers tired of writing the same boilerplate DAX from scratch for every project
- Data and business analysts who understand the business side but need help bridging the gap to Power BI syntax
- ERP implementation teams prototyping reporting layers under tight go-live timelines
Currently in Beta
Velqur is in early access and open for beta testing. Features and capabilities are actively evolving based on user feedback.
If you are a Power BI professional, data analyst, or consultant looking for a faster, privacy-conscious way to generate DAX and Power Query M code, Velqur is worth a look.
